Weyeah Power supplies tested alternative Jenbacher parts — gaskets, seals, sensors, filters, ignition components and more — with batch-level inspection records, written warranty and delivery within one week for standard items. You don't need the cheapest part. You need the part that fits the first time, runs to service interval, and arrives before your planned shutdown.
Cost is the entry point, but it is rarely the whole story. Three pressures push plant engineers and procurement teams toward a credible alternative parts supplier:
Lead time. Genuine Jenbacher parts are usually quoted on the manufacturer's order queue. For a 24/7 gas engine, every extra day of waiting is a day of lost generation revenue. When a scheduled shutdown is three weeks away, a parts supplier that ships inside a week changes the plan.
Obsolescence. Older engine families are still running hard — J612, J320, J420 and earlier units in district heating, biogas and CHP plants. Some original part references are no longer actively supplied. You need a partner who can source or manufacture a compatible equivalent rather than tell you "no longer available."
Total cost of ownership. An alternative part that fails early doesn't save money — it costs twice: the part itself, the labour to pull it out again, and the unplanned downtime that follows. The question is not "how cheap is this part?" but "how certain am I that it will run to the next inspection?"
An alternative part is not automatically a risk. An untracked, unmeasured, unwarranted alternative part is. The difference is the supplier.
In this article, a genuine part is one sold by the engine manufacturer under its own part number. An alternative (or compatible) part is manufactured by an independent company to fit and function in the same position on the same engine model.
The table below is not a "which is better" verdict. It is what you should ask about any alternative parts supplier — including us.
Question to ask | What a serious supplier gives you |
Who made this part, and from what drawing? | A named manufacturer, a drawing or spec reference, and a part number that maps to your engine's serial number |
What did you measure before it left your warehouse? | Measured dimensions against a spec, recorded by batch, retrievable on request |
What does the warranty actually cover? | Written terms: defects in material and workmanship, claim procedure, who pays for return shipping |
How fast can it ship? | A named number (days), not "soon" — and a distinction between standard stock and custom items |
Who do I call if it doesn't fit? | A named contact, not a generic inbox. A serious supplier will ask for your engine serial number before shipping, not after |
At Weyeah Power, these are not sales talking points — they are the checklist we run on every order.
We are a Wuhan-based supplier focused on gas engine spare parts. Our Jenbacher alternative parts line is built around five commitments.
Each batch and the critical dimensions of each product are measured and recorded in our PLM and warehouse management systems. When you ask "which batch is this, and what were the measurements?", we can pull the record. We do not sell parts we cannot trace.
A part number on a quote is only half the answer. The other half is your engine's serial number and configuration. Before we ship, our team cross-checks the part against your engine model and serial number — or asks for a photo of the old part and the nameplate if the number is unclear.
This is how we avoid the most expensive mistake in spare parts: ordering the right part number for the wrong revision.
Standard items ship within one week of order confirmation. Urgent orders can ship the same day. Custom or large-volume items are quoted with a confirmed lead time up front — no silent delays, no "waiting on the factory" two weeks after you paid.
A real example. In May 2026, a Malaysian biogas plant's J416 generator shut down on a damaged M-cabinet power supply module. Local suppliers could not source it; the European OEM quoted a four-week lead time. Weyeah Power confirmed stock the same day, dispatched by air that evening, and the module reached the customer on day four — installed and the generator back on load that same day. That is the difference a stocked spare-parts partner makes. Read the full J416 Malaysia case study.
Warranty depends on the product group, and we say so in writing. Before you order, we tell you what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim. We also recommend you check your engine's service contract before fitting a non-genuine part — that is between you and the OEM, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Not every component should be sourced from an alternative parts supplier. Engine control units, safety-related sensors and parts where a failure could damage the cylinder head or turbocharger are cases where the genuine part, or a formally engineered equivalent, is the safer choice. If you send us an enquiry for a part we do not recommend sourcing from us, we will say so — even on a control-cabinet module we do stock. It costs us this order; it earns us your next one.
You can see the range we supply on our Jenbacher spare parts category page.
To quote quickly and correctly, send us:
Your engine model and serial number(Photos are better)
The part number you need, or a clear photo of the old part
The quantity and the date you need it on site
Any urgency notes (planned shutdown window, plant trip already underway)
We will confirm fit, quote the lead time, and send inspection records with the shipment.

We do not claim to be the engine manufacturer, and we do not use words like "original" or "OEM" for our own parts. What we do guarantee is this: each part is measured against its specification, each batch is traceable, and every product carries a written warranty. For most wear items — gaskets, seals, filters, ignition components, sensors — that is the level of certainty plant operators expect from a credible alternative parts supplier.
Check your engine warranty or service contract first. Fitting a non-genuine part can affect cover, depending on the contract terms. We will not tell you to ignore the OEM contract — we will help you understand which parts are safe to source from us and which are better ordered through the manufacturer, based on your engine's status.
We supply alternative parts for widely running Jenbacher gas engine families including the J416, J320, J420, J612 and related series used in CHP, biogas and natural gas plants. Send your engine model and serial number, and we will confirm whether we have the part in our line.
Tell us within the documented warranty window, with photos. We will arrange a replacement or credit under the written terms. The point of measuring every batch and cross-checking your serial number before dispatch is to make that conversation rare — but when it happens, we own it.
